Paris Saint-Germain’s squad depth is being tested like never before.

Luis Enrique’s men have been decimated by injury problems that we knew would come, though not to the degree they have arrived so early in the season.

Ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Barcelona, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, João Neves, and Marquinhos are all in the treatment room. At the same time, there will be a nervous wait as Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are assessed after going off during the first half of Saturday’s 2-0 victory against Auxerre.

It’s entirely possible that PSG will be without five players who finished in the top 20 of the Ballon d’Or vote, plus a couple more regular starters.
