Paris Saint-Germain are UEFA Champions League winners!

Let that sink in for a moment. For those who have been following the club since its inception in 1970, this moment must feel surreal. For those who became supporters during the Qatar Sports Investments era, Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Inter Milan was the culmination of a more than decade-long wait, filled with some of the most devastating losses any fan base has had to endure.

The celebration will go on well into the night in Paris and around the world, and it’s well-deserved. There was no doubt in the final who the better team was, and considering PSG’s path to the final, there can be no denying that PSG truly are the best team in the world right now.

After the final whistle, I was left with several prevailing thoughts about the team, specific players, and those who had once worn the PSG shirt.
