We took a brief hydration break since Paris Saint-Germain won its second UEFA Champions League title, but now we’re jumping back into the swing of things and taking a closer look at the transfer rumor mill.
As of June 14, all clubs in Ligue 1 can officially sign and register players with the Ligue de Football Professionnel. The window will remain open until September 1. That sounds like plenty of time to make the necessary changes to the squad, but with the FIFA World Cup currently underway, it’s unlikely that PSG will do any business until after the final on July 19.
The pause in official signings hasn’t stopped the transfer rumors headlines, and there have already been some intriguing names linked with a move to the French capital. Some are more realistic than others, so let’s take a look at who might be joining the European champions next season.
To keep things simple, I’m going to use a scale of 1-10 for each transfer target, with 1 indicating the transfer will not happen at all this summer, and 10 meaning the transfer is essentially a done deal.
