Paris Saint-Germain were handed a Champions League lesson against Arsenal on Wednesday, but the loss at the Emirates Stadium does not need to be portrayed as a catastrophe. Instead, it should be considered a learning experience and treated as such.

There’s little doubt PSG was outmaneuvered by Arsenal in North London. The home side controlled the flow of the game and yet were reliant upon two goalkeeping errors from Gianluigi Donnarumma for their goals. Although these dictated the flow of the match, the home side created little otherwise, while Les Parisiens twice hit the woodwork.

Seasons can turn on such incidents, yet with six group-stage matches remaining, PSG still has ample time to salvage their UEFA Champions League campaign.
