I’ve been covering Paris Saint-Germain long enough to know that some things will just never go away, and one of them is drama. While I thought supporters would at least get a reprieve this season with the Kylian Mbappé saga finally over, that apparently isn’t the case, according to the latest reports.
With PSG struggling in the UEFA Champions League and on the brink of crashing out of European competition by the end of January, some players are frustrated with Luis Enrique, don’t understand his lineup decisions, and believe the former FC Barcelona manager is being unfair.
The media has mentioned Bradley Barcola as someone who is frustrated with Luis Enrique’s demands. That has reportedly led to Barcola putting a potential contract extension on hold.
The latest news coming out of the French capital is that Luis Enrique is unhappy with the quality of his squad and will look for opportunities to strengthen in January but will likely wait until the summer to make major changes.
