Biggest Questions Facing PSG Ahead of 2026-27 Season
Paris Saint-Germain enters the upcoming season with a chance to win a third consecutive Champions League title.
Now that the FIFA World Cup has come to an end (congratulations, Fabian Ruiz and Spain!), we can focus on Paris Saint-Germain's upcoming 2026-27 season in earnest.
The preseason begins on August 5, with a trip to the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix to face Mallorca. Three days later, PSG will take on Manchester United in Gothenburg, Sweden. Then there’s the UEFA Super Cup on August 12, against Aston Villa, and the Trophée des Champions against RC Lens on August 16.
Another key date is September 1, when the summer transfer window closes for the top leagues in Europe. That doesn’t leave much time for Luis Enrique, Luis Campos, and Nasser Al-Khelaifi to make the necessary changes to improve the squad to the level needed to win a third consecutive UEFA Champions League title.
With the players on a much-deserved holiday, and time running out before the start of the season, here are the biggest questions I believe are facing PSG heading into the 2026-27 season:
